My dearest friends

One of a kind

Two souls apart

Completely different minds

Comparisons are hilarious

The differences so striking

Not only in appearances

Personalities, too, varying

My rambunctious redhead

Loud and always jolly

Laughingly naïve

The life of every party

My practical brunette

Slightly shy with others ‘round

Teasing everything I do

Feet firmly planted on the ground

Each of them bring out

A different part of me

And both clearly know

Something few others can see

The friendships are perfectly balanced

In spite of the many diversities

And out of all I know in the world

There are none as
*gear as these

Though they’ve hardly met each other

Any time fewer than three

Both would consent emphatically

In common, they put up with me
