Exhausted and feeling 

I cannot go on 

Wanting to quit 

And close my eyes 

Give me the strength, Father 

Throughout my day 

That I might do your works 

To bring You glory 

And show Your love 

Is all the bread I need 

And the joy this brings 

Makes my cup overflow 

With the blessings You give me 

Father I cannot explain 

How You come to know 

When I am in need 

For the rest, long due 

I sigh to have 

A day to myself, You show 

That rest in You is 

More than enough 

And time spent, days perhaps 

Finding You in Yours 

Is a gift I’ve come to love 

So I thank You, Father 

For this day You’ve blessed me with 

And ask You for only this 

That You continue to help me grow

In You, and remind me of this bliss
