A Brief Letter to the People of Yahweh

Jared Leys

In Hosea, it says:

O Israel, return unto Yahweh thy Elohim; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.  Take with you words, and turn to Yahweh; say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so we will render the calves of our lips.  Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, ye are our elohim: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.

Father Yahweh, may you forgive us of our sins, and humble us so that we may better serve you.  Father, draw us close to you, and never let us go.  And through all, may we thank you for life and love and sending your only begotten son to die for our sins.  Father Yahweh, you are good.

And so let it be said of us that we went to our Creator and held fast.  May we be called the people of Yahweh because we serve him in truth and honest desire.  May we always love his ways and remember that His love is strong.

May we find the kingdom of heaven and dwell there.  May the breath of life be breathed among us, and may we one day soon sing to each other with songs of truth.  May we fight injustice, and by our Father overcome it, always remembering that His love is strong.

May we strive to be blameless in all things.  May we remember that the tares are gathered before the wheat, so that we may stand fast and not fear.  For we know, His love is strong.

To the elders, guide His people on the path of righteousness, just as we pray to be guided.  With wisdom and honor teach the youth His ways; otherwise, the world would be glad to teach their ways.

To the men of Yahweh, be strong.  Do not give up, and stand in the gap.

To the women of Yahweh, be strong too.  Be the help of community that is desperately needed.

To the youth, follow His ways.  Seek truth and know that the time comes when great faith is expected.  Be prepared for humiliation; humble your heart in Yahweh.  Take what you have been blessed with and use it, for the wisdom and honor of the elders is not there in vain.

To all, always remember, His mercy and His love are strong.
