We Believe:
The Old and New Testament Scriptures are the inspired word of Yahweh. (2 Tim 3:16)
Yahweh is eternal, self-existent, and the sustainer of all life. All of creation is subject to Him. Yahweh is love. (Isa 43:10, Isa 44:6, 1 John 4:8)
Y'shua is the only begotten son of Yahweh. He exists eternally with the Father. All of creation was made through Him and to Him. (John 3:16, Rev 1:17-18, Col 1:15-18)
The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father. The Spirit dwells within the believer to give us life, strength and authority to overcome sin and the world. (John 14:25-26, John 15:26-27, Ps 51:9-15, Rom 8:10, Luke 4:1-14)
Salvation comes only through Y'shua the Messiah. His sacrifice through the shedding of His blood atoned for our sins. Through His blood we have remission of our sins and are eternally redeemed. Furthermore, He is highly exalted, and we recognize Him as king and ruler in our lives. (John 14:6, Heb 1:1-3, Heb 9:11-15, Phil 2:9-11)
The acceptance of Y'shua as our Savior means we enter into the New Covenant with the Father and Son. The New Covenant went into effect at Y'shua's death and supercedes the Old Covenant. (Heb 9:15)
We do not receive salvation through the laws, statutes, and judgments of the Old Covenant. However, we do find blessing in observance of these commandments as each individual is led by the Spirit. (Rom 3:21-31, Gal 3:6-14)
Sin separates us from Yahweh. Sin is disobedience to our Father, and the transgression of His perfect law. (1 John 3:4, 1 John 5:17, James 4:17, Deut 8:3)
Belief in the atonement accomplished by Y'shua's death, his resurrection, repentance of our sins, and immersion, are required to receive salvation. It is through these that we enter the covenant community of believers. (Acts 2:38, 1 Cor 15:20-22)
The original names of the Father and Son as found in Scripture are Yahweh and Y'shua, and as such should be used. (Acts 4:10-12, Isa 42:8, Ps 68:4)
Fellowship with other believers is important and necessary to our spiritual growth as individuals, families, and assemblies. Fellowship helps us build relationships with our spiritual brothers and sisters, which in turn strengthens the Body of the Messiah. (Heb 10:19-25, Lev 23:1-4)
Through the Holy Spirit Yahweh gives gifts and talents to each of us as He wills. While these gifts and talents may edify the individual who has received them, ultimately they are for the building of the Body. As we continually seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit, Yahweh will pour His Spirit upon us. (Eph 4:11-16)
Freely giving of our time, talent, finances, and other resources as we are blessed, is a concept clearly brought forth in the Scriptures. This giving is for the proclamation of the Good News, the building of the Body, and for helping those in need. (Rom 9:6-9, Mal 3:8-12, Deut 14:22-23,28-29, James 1:27)
The eternal Kingdom of Yahweh, the New Heavens and the New Earth, is the final reward of all those who accept Y'shua as their Savior. In contrast eternal death is the punishment for all who reject Y'shua. (Rev 21:1-8)
